Trail Word
A daily five-letter word puzzle with an outdoors, auto and kitchen flavour. Six tries to find it.
How to play
- You have six tries to find the hidden five-letter word. Type a guess with the on-screen keys or your keyboard and press Enter.
- After each guess every letter gets a mark. A solid teal tile means the letter is in the right spot. An amber ring means it is in the word but somewhere else. A dim tile means it is not in the word.
- There is one new word each day, the same for everyone. Finish it and come back tomorrow, or switch to practice for as many extra words as you like.
- Win the daily word on consecutive days to build a streak. Your streak and results are saved on your own device.
Tips
- Start with a word that uses common letters such as E, A, R and T.
- Use the dim keys to cross letters off, then build your second guess around different letters.
- Watch for double letters. A letter can appear twice, and each copy is marked on its own.
- Practice mode is a good way to try new opening words without using up the daily one.
