Costco’s in-house brand, Kirkland Signature, offers exceptional value on a wide range of household and food items, making a membership worthwhile for many shoppers. From high-quality pantry staples to indulgent treats, these products stand out for their quality, affordability, and popularity among consumers. Below are ten Kirkland Signature items that consistently earn rave reviews and make frequent appearances in Costco shoppers’ carts.

Kirkland Signature Organic Greek Nonfat Yogurt

This yogurt is a nutritional powerhouse, packed with protein, calcium, and potassium, making it an ideal breakfast or snack option. At less than $8 for a 48-ounce tub, it’s a budget-friendly alternative to pricier brands, offering the same health benefits at half the cost.

Kirkland Signature Extra Virgin Italian Olive Oil

A standout for both quality and value, this cold-pressed olive oil from Italian olives is a bestseller. Priced at approximately $0.47 per ounce for a 2-liter bottle, it’s significantly cheaper than premium olive oils, which can cost up to $2 per ounce, making it a staple for cost-conscious cooks.

Kirkland Signature Italian Parmigiano Reggiano

This authentic Parmigiano Reggiano, complete with the official stamp and consortium logo, rivals high-end cheeses at a fraction of the cost. At $15 per pound compared to up to $40 at specialty stores, it’s a must-have for cheese lovers seeking quality without the premium price tag.

Kirkland Signature Organic Maple Syrup

Sourced from Quebec’s maple trees, this 100% pure grade A amber maple syrup is a fan favorite, retailing for $14.99. Shoppers, including those from Vermont, praise its quality and affordability, making it a sweet deal for pancakes, waffles, and baking.

Kirkland Signature Imported Basil Pesto

This 22-ounce jar of pesto, made with 100% Italian basil, costs around $11 and offers incredible versatility. Its large size is perfect for bulk cooking, and freezing leftovers in ice cube trays ensures none goes to waste, as recommended by savvy Costco employees.

Kirkland Signature Chocolate Covered Raisins

Priced at $22.99 for nearly 3.5 pounds, these milk chocolate-coated raisins are a crowd-pleaser. Shoppers on platforms like Reddit rave about their rich chocolate and plump raisins, claiming they outshine competitors like Raisinets, though moderation is advised to avoid overindulgence.

Kirkland Signature Grass-Fed Butter

At roughly $0.80 per ounce, this New Zealand-produced grass-fed butter is a cost-effective alternative to pricier brands like Kerrygold, which can cost $1.60 per ounce. With a richer taste and slightly lower sodium, it’s a favorite for cooking and baking enthusiasts.

Kirkland Signature Butter Croissants

A pack of 12 large, flaky butter croissants for about $7—or $0.60 each—is a steal compared to $4 for a single croissant at a café. These bakery gems are so beloved that some shoppers claim they alone justify the cost of a Costco membership.

Kirkland Signature Vodka

At $22 for a handle, this vodka is a budget-friendly option with a smooth, crisp taste that rivals pricier brands like Grey Goose. Available in Costco locations that sell alcohol, it’s a go-to for both professional and home bartenders looking for quality without the high price.

Kirkland Signature Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream

This rich, creamy vanilla ice cream, sold in two half-gallon containers for $18, offers a texture and flavor comparable to premium brands like Cold Stone Creamery. Its value and indulgent taste make it a favorite, though its large quantity requires ample freezer space.
